Welcome & Follow this journey along the wild coast

This is the first post directed to Year 12 embarking on A2 Geography programmes. Welcome to the 'Geography Room' & the community of Geographers who call here. You will become full editors of the blog, able to post as well as comment. Please take time to look at what we achieved in the first six months in the Geography Room. Many of the posts will be relevant to your work & I hope you feel the strong sense of community for Geography learners that was created & would like to be part of its development. Geography Room is visited by people outside of Boston Spa & indeed, outside of the UK. I hope that the 'Class of 2007' will continue to comment & maybe post as they start their studies & travels! Some cheering from the sidelines will be appreciated! To start the work on 'Managing Wilderness' we can begin by looking at a real journey into the wilderness. This is a real journey to discover the state of the wilderness between Seattle & Alaska. Have a read of the home page and follow the blog. What are the issues they encounter? All of the issues will be of interest as we study 'wilderness' however of particular interest will be findings relating to the state of the forests.
