New Blog Authors!

Year 12: you should have received an email inviting you to join the 'Geography Room' as an author. That means you will be able to 'post' and not just 'comment' on the blog. Why might you want to do that? a) I might ask you to prepare a post as part of a piece of work -e.g. some research task that you will undertake. For this it may be useful to have a www.slideshare.net account if you have not yet done so (for uploading powerpoints so that they are viewable in the blog). b) You might want to share something you have done or found out about with the wider geographical community c) You may want to post a query or request that might be missed as a comment or doesn't relate to an existing recent post.

I will show you how to insert hyperlinks, photos, slide shows & stuff.

Please remember that your posts (& comments) are in the public domain & reflect on you, me, the school & the community that is all A level Geography students. Nuff said!

In the coursework, where does the action plan go when we have done it? Is it before the intro? It would be useful to know becuase of page numbers and stuff!

Action plan before the introduction! In technical papers it would be called an 'Abstract'.

I can't think of what to put in my methodology table becuase my hypothesis is about sediment shape and beach profile. What else could I mention?

Can you put one of those sheets on the blog that show how to measure rock size and the numbers for rock angularitY please? It would be useful to refer to as part of my methodology table.
